With her rich experience in the global tourism sector, Carol Hay has directed multi-national marketing portfolios spanning destination branding, product development, sustainable tourism development, public relations, crisis management and social media. Carol is the Founder and CEO of McKenzie Gayle Limited, a global tourism marketing and development agency based in East Croydon.
Carol is also a strong advocate for equality, diversity and inclusion throughout the tourism industry and is regularly called upon to address. Using the strong platform of McKenzie Gayle Limited, Carol will use her vast tourism network and expertise to launch the 'Tourism Inclusion Network' a social enterprise aimed at supporting non majority creatives to scale up and enter the UK inbound tourism industry. This concept will increase business channels for the creatives, diversify the visitor experience and open the UK up to more visitors seeking authentic cultural experiences.
